Through the course of casual conversation today, I was reminded of one of the funniest moments I’ve ever seen on television. Back in 1998, the surviving members of Monty Python was gathered together for a 2 hour event where they were interviewed by Robert Klein for the American Film Institute and an HBO broadcast.

One of the first things to happen was they brought out Graham Chapman’s ashes in an urn and taped his face to the box they set it on. That set the tone.

She's rolling with da homies now.

Actress Brittany Murphy, who starred in such films as Clueless, Girl, Interrupted, Sin City, and also voiced Luanne on King of the Hill, passed way this morning.

She went into cardiac arrest early this AM and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai where she was pronounced DOA. TMZ (who else) broke the initial report.

This girl always seemed goofy and genuine to me.

Sad.
