This video is pretty old and I saw it some time ago but didn’t Fist it thinking you guys might not appreciate how mayjah it is. Also, I think I couldn’t ascertain exactly whether or not this amazingness is deceased or not. Regardless…LEGENDARY.

Since it was brought to my attention again in a post over on DListed I decided it’s now being brought to yours.

Recognize.

Proxy-posting Thumb received this message from FatFinger yesterday.

In awe of Brother Stink’s awesome Where’s-Waldo style poster of the fingers, I had to get cracking and find my own Simpsonized portrait.

I already had it actuially, I was just never able to get the whole dude with the background, like ya’ll did. I still don’t know why it won’t work, but I do have the bust if you wanted to insert me into a future poster. I have the file in both .png and .psd without the background if you want it, Stink (I’ll need your email since I didn’t add you to my contacts the last time you emailed me and now I can’t find it), but for now, here is the Simpsonized version of the Finger of Dirt.

HIV camera

Wayne Martin Belger makes very cool artwork. Some of his art is pinhole cameras, which he apparently designs for specific projects.

The one below is includes HIV positive blood which can be pumped in front of the lens for use as a #25 red filter.

4”x5” camera made from Aluminium, Copper, Titanium, Acrylic and HIV positive blood. The blood pumps through the camera then in front of the pinhole and becomes my #25 red filter. Designed to shoot a geographic comparison of people suffering from HIV.

This skull camera was designed to study the beauty of decay.

skull pinhole camera

4”x5” camera made from Aluminium, Titanium, Brass, Silver, Gem Stones and a 150 year old skull of a 13 year old girl. Light and time enters at the third eye, exposing the film in the middle of the skull.

Make ten hundred percent sure you go look at the pictures he took with these awesome cameras on his site.

Artist Cedric Delsaux has created this striking series of pictures of Star Wars characters in otherworldly urban settings.  The juxtaposition is just enough to bring the characters to life, but the settings are bizarre enough to accommodate the fantastical nature of the subjects.

JOUST!!

Oh, and also, NERDGASM!!  It’s been a Star Wars week, huh?

Aranzi Aronzo wrote a bunch of books for kids describing how to create Felt Mascots.

Some of you may know Apocalyptica, the 4 cello players playing metal tunes…

This is… Better, I feel. Slightly different focus, but… yes…. good….
