I grok that statement. I wonder what the male dynamic whereby a female voice comes across as “sexy” is? I’ve noticed, in my case, it’s women with slightly husky voices – that is, slightly lower pitched than other women. Also various inflections, e.g., the “s and h.”
I’ve heard exactly the same sentiment from other men. Buddha used to say that he thought a woman’s voice sounded sexy when it had that post-cold hint of gravel in it.
Maybe because our mothers spoke to us in soft, low voices and rocked us when we were babies and having a fit?
